The Sabarmati River has been a vital part of Ahmedabad, both physically and culturally, since the city's establishment. Since then, the city has undergone significant modern development due to major construction projects occurring. However, as the Sabarmati River has evolved to adapt to these changes, its cultural and physical significance has been overshadowed by the city's urbanization, rendering it a mere aesthetic feature.
