Ipshita Karmakar graduated as an architect from Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture and Environmental Studies, Mumbai, and was a student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in City Planning (‘21- ‘23). She is a Fulbright-Nehru Master’s Scholar and JN Tata Scholar (2021). She led the Mumbai Water Narratives exhibition 'Confluence' from July 2020 to March 2021 as a part of the Living Waters Museum team. Her interest areas lie in stakeholder engagement and participatory planning, particularly geared towards building resilience to disasters and climate change within cities.
