Shalvi Suman has a bachelor's degree in design and is currently pursuing her master’s in heritage management. She began her research journey at the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar while working on an anthropological and architectural research project titled, Kutch Architecture: Merging Borders. As a research intern at LWM, she explored the relationship between the physical and cultural attributes of the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad. She also worked in Assam on the indigenous knowledge systems of human-elephant interactions. Her curiosity lies in understanding the diversity of linkages between nature and culture.
