'Tikhoo aur Rewa' was composed for children with inspiration drawn from efforts of Living Waters Museum with the intent of informing the young minds about the Narmada through a story. India is a place of diverse cultures and where the river is a cultural phenomenon that connects not only geographical spaces but also temporal; that flows while blurring the lines of languages, cultures, heritage and identities; that is accessible to everyone and anyone. In the story, Tikhoo- a small marble rock traverses with the river abandoning his own comfortable abode cutting through his anxiety, impudence and ignorance while witnessing his curiosity exploring different cultural and natural heritage and becoming congenial and calm. The Narmada flows strongly in the story in the background as it does in the lives of millions of people residing on its banks. In the end, the river humbles Tikhoo and caresses him for another comfortable home.
